My fireplace blower fan had stopped working. It would hum when it was supposed to be turning, but would not turn. I fixed mine and am sharing how I did it with you. I bought my fireplace blower from here. 🤍 This is demonstrated on a FK4, GFK4, R7-RB74K (Electric Motor Warehouse), HB-RB74K (ROTOM), but is the general process for any of the fine fireplace blowers you would purchase from the above website.

A few years ago I picked a very lightly used NYB material handling blower. Its a model GI, Series 20 blower, size 144 with an LS fan wheel. This blower is ideal for a dust collection system. My current system does the job, but due to some upcoming changes in the shop in preparation for the new finish room I need to move the dust collector blower and baghouse to the other side of the insulated wall. My current Genaral #4 blower does what is needed, but ever since I moved to 7.5 HJP motor and increased the fan speed, it has developed a very annoying nuisance frequency that is very annoying. So, I decided I was gong to use this NYHB blower instead. You will here in this video the noticeable difference.

Want to try to get more heat from the wood stove. Adding a blower might help. When it gets below 20 degrees it is hard for this little stove to heat the shop.

🤍 We are replacing the bilge blower on our Grand Banks 36. I and going with a Seaflo 320. I think this is going to work very well sucking the heat and any vapors out of the bilge.
In this video we replace the blower in our wood stove fireplace insert due to the noise it was making. Also turns out it was working hard to turn the impeller and now blows heat so much better. I just love heating with hardwood firewood cord wood!
