It was the settlement of the great warriors of the First and Second World Wars. The village is about 22 kilometers from Kotli Sattian and is easily accessible from all directions via metal tracks. The town covers an area of ??3001 acres. The valley offers the best scenic views, with dense deep forest and watchtower, so that tourists can have an upper view. The soil is suitable for growing local crops, but residents prefer to find jobs in towns. 40% of the city's population has temporarily relocated to major cities to take advantage of modern facilities and educate their children in the best schools. You can climb the trails and enjoy the calm atmosphere there. There is also a mosque on the upper corner of the waterfall. Importantly, if you are a hiker, this route can also satisfy your appetite. The total distance one way is approximately 40 minutes. Additionally, the town of Karore is the perfect place to escape the monotony of everyday life and get closer to nature. ABOUT THIS VLOG: This is the first episode of Kotli Sattian Series (New Tourist Destination of Pakistan). Started my journey from Chirah Chowk towards Karore village. On the way I visited the beautiful Simly Dam Lake and the view point and took some stunning drone shots. My next stop was Karore Forest Resthouse in Karore valley which was a very beautiful and calm place. Then I continued my ride towards Iryari village to visit the Fire Watch Tower. On the southwest side of Kotli Sattian is the famous Karore village, located near Islamabad. It was the settlement of the great warriors of the First and Second World Wars. The village is about 22 kilometers from Kotli Sattian and is easily accessible from all directions via metal tracks.
Karore Forest is located at the distance of about 50 km from Islamabad. It takes 75-90 minutes to reach the forest. One can also enjoy the breathtaking view of Simly Dam during the journey. If someone wants to explore mountains, it is the best possible place to explore as it is located at such small distance. At the elevation of 6000 ft, one can really see Kotli Sattian and mighty mountains of Kashmir on a clear & sunny day.
The village is situated about 22 km from Kotli Sattian and is easily approachable by metal roads from all sides. The village area is 3,001 acres. The soil is suitable for cultivating local crops but the inhabitants prefer to get employment in cities and towns. Forty percent of the population of the village has temporarily shifted to the big cities to avail themselves to the modern facilities and to have their children educated in the better schools. The average household size in 5.8% and rate of literacy is 78.5% Karor is a Patwar Circle and headquarters of the union council. There are two high schools, one for boys and one for girls. There is also a middle school for boys and two primary schools for both sexes in every settlement. Karor also has a police post that was established in the beginning of the British rule. A forest range with a rest house also exists. Moreover, a B.H.U., agricultural extension service, sub post office. If you intend to enjoy the natural beauty of Gulliyat then Karore is a good option. Since this valley is yet hidden so less number of tourests, hotels and pollution. Karor is an un explored beautiful valley near Islamabad. From Islamad to Lahore on GT road, turn left from Khanna Bridge. Just 1 h from Rawalpindi on the way to Putriyata. Putriyata is further 1 h from Karore. The valley is very rich is pine jungles. Road is very good. It is same road for Simly Dam. First visiting site is Simly dam, where you can track to the base of valley near dam. There is beautiful water fall known as Bissa Waterfall. Then towards Karore you will find another beautiful place, a hotel, Peace and Pine. Another visiting place. Forest Tower of PTDA, is the most beautiful and highest point of karor valley. You can go by car or nice track upto a medows where on top of a hill enjoy climbing Tower for excellent view. Since there is less number of tourists in the area so valley is very clean and full of pine jungle. The valley has snow fall during December january while pleasant during summer. Not as cold as Murree. It is the settlement of the great warriors of the first and Second World Wars Take Lehtrar road from Islamabad and turn left from Chirah chowk towards Simli Dam and Patriata. In about fifteen minutes, you would bypass Simli Dam and see the spill way on your left, drive another 10-15 minutes through hills and it will lead you to Karore. Then take left for Bissa Waterfall which is 6 km offroad trek
