Those spotted bass are so fun. That’s what I love about Lanier so much. Once the weather cools down and all the lake lice go away it’s some of the best fishing there is.
Lake keowee also has small mouth in it. But not common.
One of the best lakes in the state. Alot of people hate it and don't realize the shallow bite is ridiculous there. I cut my teeth fishing Tuesday and Friday night tournaments out there.

Dude. You must have ran up there after fishing Hartwell. Hartwell is my home lake, but we are only about 20mins from Keowee. Very good spots there.
